Jin

Kim Seok-jin (김석진), known professionally as Jin (진), is a South Korean singer, songwriter, record producer, and actor signed under BigHit Music. He is a member of the boy group BTS.

Musical Career

Jin has extensive experience as a musician, having co-written and released three solo tracks with BTS: "Awake" in 2016, "Epiphany" in 2018, and "Moon" in 2020. All of these songs charted on South Korea's Gaon Digital Chart. He further released three self-composed digital singles: "Tonight" in 2019, "Abyss" in 2020, and "Super Tuna" in 2021. His official solo artist debut occurred in October 2022 with the single "The Astronaut."

Awards and Recognition

In 2018, Jin, along with the other members of BTS, was awarded the fifth-class Hwagwan Order of Cultural Merit by the President of South Korea in recognition of his contributions to Korean culture.
