Este es el primer día del Año Nuevo Chino. Los Zhuangs se levantan temprano para desear feliz Año Nuevo a Shuiqing. Daohan quiere despertar a Daomei, pero es detenido por Jiajia, quien justifica que esto está tabu el primer día del Año Nuevo. Jiajia cocina fideos de longevidad en lugar de la papas, pues así es auspicioso y saludable para todos. El vestíbulo está en desorden. Hua-jie se enfada por no poder limpiarlo porque de otro Año Nuevo Chino... Translation: This is the first day of Chinese New Year. The Zhuangs get up early to greet Shuiqing with New Year wishes.
