No se trata de una secuela, precuela ni spin-off de ninguna otra serie. Tampoco está basada en un libro, por lo que no hablaremos del tema. Esta serie televisiva es dirigida principalmente a un público adulto, ya que aborda temas como la búsqueda de la identidad, el amor, la venganza y el misterio, enmarcados en el contexto de París y su vibrante vida nocturna. Uno de los momentos más destacados de la primera temporada es el misteriosa desaparición de Florence Maréchal (interpretada por Laetitia Dosch), una joven exitosa empresaria, cuyo cuerpo es hallado en el río Sena.
