Boston Public: Una Nueva Era en la Educación Boston Public es una serie de televisión estadounidense transmitida por la Fox Network desde el año 2000, creada por David McKenna. No es una secuela, precuela, spin-off ni reboot de otra serie. Tampoco está basada en un libro. La serie gira en torno al funcionamiento del departamento de recursos humanos y el personal administrativo de la escuela secundaria Thomas Kennedy, ubicada en Boston, Massachusetts. Boston Public muestra la realidad desafiantes de las escuelas urbanas en el siglo XXI, enfatizando temas como el racismo, la pobreza, la criminalidad y el desempleo. En un principio, la serie no estaba dirigida a un público específico, ya que pretendía abordar una amplia audiencia interesada en las cuestiones educativas.
