Gary Hobson (Kyle Chandler) era un hombre corriente. Un día, su mujer le deja y tiene que irse a un hotel. Primer Temporada de Edición Anterior (1996) La serie Edición Anterior, estrenada por primera vez en 1996, es una producción televisiva estadounidense creada por Chris Carter. No se trata de una secuela, precuela, spin-off o reboot de otra serie. El título de la serie deriva del concepto de "ediciones anteriores" que hace referencia a las memorias colectivas y misteriosos eventos que afectan a los personajes. Edición Anterior se desarrolla en un mundo en el que se mezclan fenomenos paranormales, ciencia ficción y misterio. El show no está basado en ningún libro, por lo tanto, no se refiriremos al autor de la misma en este apartado. La serie estaba dirigida principalmente a un público adulto interesado en misterios y ciencia ficción. Los momentos más destacados de la primera temporada incluyen el descubrimiento del "Syndicate", una organización secreta que manipula eventos mundiales desde las sombras, y la aparición del Agente X (Robert Patrick), cuya identidad sigue siendo un misterio a lo largo de toda la temporada.
