Un grupo de humanos mutantes tienen como misión buscar y proteger a los supermutantes. Mutante-X: Una Nueva Era de Superhéroes en la Primera Temporada Mutante-X es una serie televisiva canadiense creada por Avi Arad y Marc Silvestri que fue transmitida por la cadena Fox Kids desde el 3 de enero de 2001 hasta el 30 de septiembre de 2002. La serie no es una secuela, precuela, spin-off ni reboot de otra serie, sino una creación original basada en personajes de Marvel Comics relacionados con la mutantes, aunque no está directamente basada en ningún libro específico. De qué trata Mutante-X? Mutante-X se centra en un grupo de jóvenes mutantes que viven en el desierta Círculo X, localizado en el Antártico, y luchan contra las amenazas que pudieran causar la extinción de todos los mutantes. Los personajes principales se ven obligados a abandonar su hogar para vivir en el mundo exterior, donde se enfrentan a nuevas amenazas y desafíos. La serie explora temas como la identidad, la aceptación y el amor, mientras mantiene una apariencia de acción y aventuras.
